Stayed at the blue palms from june 2-june 4 with several others from my elks lodge. New management appears to be very disorganized. Many rooms that had been booked for months were not available at the time of check-in. My room was available, but unfortunately the room had not been cleaned. Management acknowledged the mistake and had the room cleaned, while we waited. Management is trying to upgrade the rooms, but still has a long way to go. Most of the rooms still look like they were last renovated in the 1970's. The best thing about this hotel is definitely its location. It is one block from the beach and very close to the amusement piers and bars and restaurants. I would not remommend a stay here until the rooms get renovated and management gets its act together.
