Hotel is in good location at the beginning of the boardwalk where it is not to "honky tonk" , but you are close enough to walk to the attractions. It is a typical wildwood motel. It is old, but they keep it clean. When we were there the pool could still be used because they kept it heated and clean. My complaints: not a parking space for every room. They gave us a voucher for the lot across the street. Loading and unloading was a pain. Don't you know it seemed like I always needed someting from the car and crossing busy ocean ave was a real chore. Also I was not going to leave my $2000 bike on my car across the street and they gave us a hard time about keeping it in the room. I had already told them I had a bike when I made the reserevation. The water pressure in the shower was almost non existant. For another $15 I will stay at the park lane again next year.

We had a nice experience at lu fran motel. Like many of the motels in the area, it is an older unit, but very clean. The staff and the management treated us very well. The pool was cleaned each morning... The rooms were cleaned and fresh towels were placed daily. It's location is awesome... As it is located almost at the end of the boardwalk...away from alot of the noise that you get when you stay in a central location. We would stay there again.

The hotel is in a nice location and the rooms were clean. We had problems because we were charged an extra amount without consent or notification. We checked out and went to the beach. When we returned to meet some other people (guests staying at the hotel) for dinner we were charged for returning to the hotel to meet the friends and family for dinner without being notified of the charge because they believed we used the friend's and family's room for showers. If we were notified of the charge, I would have either agreed or chosen to leave. It is the shady business practice of charging my credit card an additional amount without consent or notification that was (and is) of concern to me. If someone else had visited they would not have had the credit card to charge, it was because we stayed there that they had the card number. A poor way to treat a repeat customer.

Great Place To Stay!

Located across the street from the beach where the boardwalk and tram car begins. There is a view of the ocean from the upstairs patio. Owners were courteous and friendly. The motel is small but is maintained well and clean. Good value for the money! Beds were made and all towels were replaced every morning. No waiting or asking. The pool and grounds are immaculate! Bbq on property. Nice place for families. Quiet and relaxing.
