Eden Roc Was The Devil'S Roc

My family and I arrived at Eden Roc Thurs Aug 18 2005. We had 21 people including adults/children. We had 4 rooms. The Manager was very uptight, nasty, and did not carry herself in a professional manner. First of all we had to pay all monies up front before she gave us the keys(cash only/money order only). Then she told up that we didn't have to stay at her motel, she would just give us our money back if she didn't like the way she ran her motel. She never listens to want you have to say, she wants to argue and raise her voice. She showed us the motel rooms, which was decent except for a few major things. The website stated that all rooms had queens size beds, out of the 4 rooms we had one 1 room had queen size beds. The bedspreads where old and dingy one of our bedspreads had blood on it. They gave us dingy towels and wash clothes that look like you could was a car with. Some of our towels had wholes in them. We only got 1 roll of toliet paper the whole entire time we where there. We asked for more, but the manager was mean and nasty. One of my family member asked for more towels, the manager wouldn't give her more towels, said we had too many people. The manager kept watching my family through 3 of the front desk windows. told us we couldn't have any visitors. We had other family member with us who weren't staying at Eden Roc, but came down to have dinner with us. We only saw 2 cleaning people the whole entire time we were there. Only 2 of our rooms where ever cleaned. 1 on Friday, by a female who didn't speak any English and the other room on Saturday, by a guy who brought unauthorized person in our room to help him clean up, because the Manager wouldn't let him leave until the rooms where cleaned. The guy who cleaned our room only emptied the trash, my mom had to ask him to clean the bathroom. He used one of the towels to clean the toliet. My mom asked him to change the sheets and his reply was "its not that time to change the sheets. We had been there for 3 days. Your sheets should be changed every 3 days. The manager told our kids that they where making too much noise in the swimming pool and made them get out and she shut the pool down before 10pm. Told the children that she was running a classy place and they had to be quite. There was nothing classy about Eden Roc. Also, the fire detectors in our rooms did not work. My honesty opinion Eden Roc is a not a very good motel to stay. Find another one. If they would change their attitudes and stop thinking that they are doing us a favorite by staying at their motel, do a little upgrading they might turn their motel around. Please don't waste your time or your money at this place. The Mitchell Family, Temple Hills Md.

Owed To The Eden Roc Motel

Come one come all, to the eden roc ball. Where paint has been used. To cover mildew stains on the wall, where the a.c. Vents are covered with dust and buying your own ice is always a must. Where pipes are clogged and full of rust and getting a working toilet in a room is a plus. Where comforters are torn and five years worn, were carpets are filled with dirt and sand, and a continental breakfeast is a joke of a plan and refrigerators are rusty and smell like death and towels and rags like hobbits breath. Where bugs clutter screens and bathroom sills and the sludge in the pool will give you the chills. So enter the eden roc if you dare this deceiptful dive with ignorant emloyees who don't even care.

The Worst Hotel

The eden roc motel was horrible, the manager bugged me and my friends the entire time we were there. We were paying costumers and we were not aloud to sit on the balcony when we were minding our own business. She checked our rooms constantly for visitors. Then at the end of our stay, she made us stand at the street while she checked our rooms for damages. After she got done checkeing she locked the door and said that things were broken, like the ac which we didnt even use because it was almost 65 the entire time we were there. So she did not give us our secrurity deposit back for all of our rooms. When we asked to see the broken items she called the police on us. As he could not do anyting because it was a civil matter, we threatened to sue her for the rest of our deposit. After about a half hour of aurgueing she gave it to us and then addmitted she was trying to "get us for our money."

Low Life Vacation.....

I stayed at this motel last summer 4th of july weekend 2005, it was not what I expected! Filthy and smelly! The garbage out side was never changed and the whole 3 days I spent there, it smelled like death!!!!!! Do not waste your time or money.
