Great Views From and Fun Nearby The Gondolier

He gondolier is a very short walk south of the boardwalk in wildwood, new jersey. Clean, spacious rooms overlook the inviting heated swimming pool and/or the ocean. Most rooms have a grand view of the morning sunrise over the ocean. The second floor sundeck is a relaxing place to read, sun or just enjoy the beauty of the beach and ocean. Groceries can be bought nearby to supply the kitchen units for dining in rooms to be near the pool or beach. The gondolier staff are friendly and courteous. The gondolier is a nice quiet place for a family to stay and still be close to join the fun of the shops, restaurants and amusements on the boardwalk.

We Loved The Gondolier…

I stayed at the gondolier last june with my husband,daughter and my sisters family who were visiting from ireland. It was a great experience. The location is excellent on the beach and within stroller distance (which was very important) from the begining of the boardwalk. We enjoyed the family atmoshere and friendly staff. The rooms were spotless and the pool area was perfect for our young children. We very much look forward to revisiting again this year. It is jersey shore at it`s best.

We stayed there last year and it was pretty good, right on the beach and close to the boardwalk and the air conditioning worked great and rooms were clean,! Im looking here at the reveiws again to decide if we should try someplace else but will probably go with the gondolier again..

I stayed at the gondolier for memorial weekend with 3 teenagers and we had a ball. I'm a single mom and my daughter brought her two best friends and they had tons of fun there!! We felt safe going out at night...walking on the beach, etc. We love the fact that we got "free" passes to the amuzement park... We got to bbq by the pool. We went riding on rented bicycles... Very close to cape may. The staff were very friendly. My girlfriend recommended this hotel to us because she stayed there before with her family. I would stay there again.

We just came back from a 5 days vacation in wildwood. We had a wonderful time over there. We stayed at the gondolier in wildwood crest. Like all motels in wildwood, it's a little bit old. We cannot compare with other motels but the gondolier has nice and very clean rooms. The pool is big enough and there is a game room with a pool table. Yes, it is expensive for the type of rooms available but since they are open only a few months during the year... The boardwalk and excellent restaurants (yes... Really!) Are at a walking distance from the motel and the beach is right there... If you plan your meals, many restaurants offers a special menu with reduced prices meals between 4 and 5 pm... It is worth the try... I had pasta with shrimps for less than 10$. One thing's for sure... We are going back next year!

Nice Stay At Gondolier

Just got back from a four day stay at the gondolier. It is a typical concrete wildwood hotel, therefore you access your room via the common exterior balconies. Altough it is a bit dated it is very clean and well maintained. The location is great, right on the beach and a few blocks from the boardwalk. The staff was very friendly. If you realize what a beach motel here is all about (you are paying for the location)you will be happy at the gondolier.

My New Vacation Spot

My family and I stayed at the gondelier hotel over the labor day weekend. It was my first time there. We loved it. The view was awesome, the rooms were clean and the service was excellent. The location to the boardwalk & beach was the best of all. I would like to make this my new family vacation spot. Also it was child friendly for my 4 & 2 year old.:) see ya next summer!

My family and I stayed at the gondolier in june 04 and everything was perfect. The rooms were spotless and the staff could not do enough for us. This was our first experience of an american hotel and we were very impressed. The kids loved the pool and the location was perfect. All in all I would highly recomend staying at the gondlier.thanks to everybody for a wonderful holiday.hope to be back soon.
