Fine place...very good facilities. Stove top, microwave and full refrigerator made the stay easy and much less expensive than it would have been if we had to eat out for all meals. Right on the beach

Clean and Very Close To The Ocean

Visitor Review
We recently stayed at this motel. The staff was very freindly and we found the place to be quite clean. Like most of the hotesl they are all a little outdated. It was right on the beach which made it a very easy walk to and from. The pool was nothing special but simliar to other motels. The suite was good for a family of four. My brother and girlfreind stayed in a regular room facing the ocean on the bottom floor. It didnt bother him but they did share the patio area with two other rooms and it was right next to the approach to the pool. My suggestion would be to stay on the floors above so you have your own balcony. I would recommend the place. Go to duffers for breakfast if you have children. They have a nice gameroom. Enjoy.

Good Hotel - Veteran of Wildwood

Visitor Review
As many have indicated, I too am a lifetime Wildwood Crest visitor. My family has vacationed in Wildwood for an estimated 50 years. The Acacia is one of the better family hotels on the strip because: A - It is clean B - Located far enough from the Boardwalk to eliminate any nightime rowdiness with easy access to Cape May C - Has a beach snackbar accessible at adjoining hotel for Breakfast/Lunch D - Outdoor grills are better than most E - Owner lives at hotel and is friendly, courteous and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Most hotels in Wildwood have the decor of the late 70's/Early 80's and the Acacia is no exception (but it is clean). The Acacia has Northern Exposure which means as the sun sets, shade comes over the rooms/pool area. This can be a benefit for those who don't wish to have sun blaring into their rooms or a detriment for those who want to catch early evening sun rays. Have visited the Wai Ki-Ki, Commander, Beau Rivage, Regal, Pier 6600, Cavalier, Admiral, etc and the Acacia ranks near the top of the list. Bottom line is, visit Wildwood Crest. Its hard to go wrong with hotel selection if you stay on the beach, and the Acacia is recommended. I'm staying there again this August ('05) If this is your first visit, definitely take advantage of the owner's knowledge and ask him where to go and what to do. Enjoy!

Acacia . . . Nice Surprise
By Anonymous on Friday, June 16, 2006

Visitor Review
After many disappointing stays in wildwood, we decided to give it one more try. The beach is so beautiful and one of the cleanest I have ever been to. So with fingers crossed, my family and I headed to the acacia. I was so happy! The place was clean and even had central air conditioning. It was quiet, so close to the beach and the staff was great. My husband was so relieved because we have had too many bad experiences in wildwood with dirty, smelling rooms (that are not cheap). It made the trip so enjoyable.

Great Choice

Just came back from a weekend trip and stayed at the acacia. We stayed in the ocean front room. It was a 2 room efficiency and my two teenage daughters had their own room. My husband and I slept on the pull out couch, which was ok for a pull out couch, but we got to see the ocean when we woke up : ). The rooms were clean, spacious and a/c, water for showering all were a+. When we arrived, the lady at the desk was very pleasant. Actually, everyone there was very pleasant. The pool is small, but we like the ocean. I did see young children having fun though in the pool. This was a good choice and we will be back.
