We had a great 7 day stay owner and staff very friendly and helpful this is a great place for a family to stay. Nice clean pool. The grounds kept clean. Our room was just the right size for my wife myself and 3 grandchildren. The location perfect just one block from the boardwalk we plan to go back next year.

I stayed at the sunrise with a few of my friends, it was way too expensive for what it looked like. It was so dirty and gross. It was close to the boardwalk, i'll give it that. The beds weren't comfortable and they smelled. The pull out couch was broken. The people who work there are rude. I hated it so much and will never stay there again!

As soon as I walked onto the motel grounds I witnessed a drug deal across the street. The lack of security is a real problem. The surrounding hotel staff looks like they came from a soprano's reunion special. Not to mention that they are anything but friendly. They refused to switch our room (i'm guessing because every room looks like it has been fire bombed), or even clean the place for us. The room smells musty and looks as if no one has cleaned it in months. Garbage was stuffed into everyplace imaginable, even in the sink drain. The surrounding clubs and frequent police raids make sleep impossible, it sounds like you are in a war zone from 10pm to 5 in the morning. The positive reviews for this hotel must be written by the owners because I could have had a more enjoyable experience sleeping in the back of a pick up truck. I would never even consider returning to sunrise.
