Nice Pool - Rooms Not Too Good

Stayed for several nights in late july 04'. Location is good. Pool is very nice! The rooms are very run down and pretty shabby. It rained really hard one night for several hours and about a 3 feet area surrounding the a/c in the room was wet. Bathroom was so so. The shower above ours must leak also because several times we noticed wet ceiling tiles in the bathroom - even when there was no rain outside.

Stayed at skyview manor on july 4th and had really best time...i finished my senior year and before heading to college..took mini vacation with my buddies...skyview is the best place in seaside...pool is clean and big size...boardwalk is only quarter block...we stayed on 4th floor from where you could see the ocean....our room was suite size n clean...morning sunrise we were able to see from our balcony ...very pleasant...management is cool.

There is not enough room on this page to tell everyone what an excellent time we had at .we had an big room will a fridge/ microwave . Also this place is best for(which I would also recommend to families with children). The rooms were the cleanest I have ever seen at a shore place. The daily maid service was a plus with friendly service and never a problem to ask for extras! This is the place for families, as management don't put up with nonsense. You don't have to worry about loud nights, drunks, or just plain stupid people-as it is not tolerated. I read some of the other postings here, and actually laugh at the ones that are nasty. I think one poster summed it up perfectly. Follow the golden rule! You get what you give!
