We found this motel from the motel search for seaside, after calling few places and checking out the prices around the town , we went to motel website and after seeing the place on the website we reserve the room with franklin terrace motel for the weekend, and we actually got we had ask for. We have room with two full size beds, refrigerator and microwave. Room is spacious and clean, with great motel location. Manager sammy was very nice guy who helped us with all our needs. We had a great weekend on the beach; we really love the boardwalk and will highly recommend this place to all of our friends.

Great for Budget

Location is good - close to Boardwalk. I thought parking would be tight, but I was able to get in and out without a problem. Was given a beach pass which was nice. Room was okay - bed and sheets were definitely clean. Had a microwave and med. sized refrig, as well as another sink besides the one in the bathroom. Bathroom was clean, but a bit dated. It did take a while for hot water to reach us, but it did finally work!!! Hotel could be more generous with the towels (2 small towels, 2 washcloths, and 1 bathmat were all that was provided) and the pillows (only 2). Room was pretty good overall. Pool - it looks small from pictures from web site - and it definitely is small. Plus, during our visit, I thought it was not "right". It wasn't green with algae or anything, but it definitely was NOT clear. It is only 4-5 ft. deep, but you could not see the bottom. I would not go in it. Overall, the place was good for the price and the location. More towels and pillows and a clean pool would definitely make this a great place to stay.

Decent Place

Me and my wife and my son and my daughter in-law were stayed at franklin terrace motel for weekend. First we had a reservation at the glendale motel, but we didn't like their room, so we decide to look around and foud this place right near by. Price was excellent for the room we had, in the room we had refferigrator, microwave, colourt.v., and full bathroom and kitchen. Room was nice, clean and spacious. Motel is only minutes away from the boardwalk. Bamboo was right near by and we enjoyed saturday night at this club, excellent club. We return late from the club aand decide to extened our stay fir few hours so my wife went to ask manager about few extra hours, and instead of 10'o clock check-out we check-out at 2'o clock in after noon for $50 extra. Managemet was nice and very familiar with the area of the town and any other help we need it. We are very lucky to find this kind of decent motel on the beach and will recomand all my friends, and in coming years whenever we will visit seaside we will definataly go to this motel, decent place to stay with your family, enjoyed my weekend.

Can'T Say I Was Crazy About It

I just came back from a 3 night stay. It was resonable for an overpriced area. One room the fold out bed was broken. Could not use as a bed. As advertised applicances in room. Stoves are a fire hazard. Bathrooms are just big enough to turn around. Hotel showing major signs of poor repair. New carpet and AC worked. Owners were nice enough. Convenient and can see fireworks from window. I will not stay in area again.

What Else Wolud You Want In Beach Motel

Me and my few freinds stayed at franklin motel for the weekend and we loved it. When we show motel from outside we thought that wee made a mistake, but after checking the room of motel we were very satisfied and loved the clean and spacious room, it is really hard to find clean rooms around beach and we are lucky in that case. Do not get fooled from their appereance from outside checkout their rooms. They provide us with the free beach passes too and we saved like $20 a day for 3 days and their pool was small but it is clean an well maintained. Their parking was little uncomfortable but it is mionr in comparison to all other things they provided to us. I loved their location and we had a great time on the beach, and boardwalk. I was not expecting that much from this little motel, and what else would you like to have in beach motel.
