This is hands down, the worst motel i have ever stayed at! The linens (bedsheets, pillow cases, towels, washcloths) were stained and when we asked for new ones, we were given linens that had even more stains on them. This place was so poorly kept my friend and i used our beach towels to sleep on and wore sandals in the shower stall. The bathroom was small and dirty. When i sat on the toilet, my knees hit the door (and i'm only 5'2!). Also a major problem, when sitting on the toilet you were eye level with the doorknob....which wouldn't have been a problem if there was a doorknob! You could see straight into the room, so my friend and i put a towel through the open hole. We complained several times about the room as a whole....the smell, the stained sheets and towels, the bathroom door that was missing essential pieces, how dirty the hotel was kept, the nasty staff....unfortunately nothing was done about any of this! We decided to cut our trip short and leave early (which we had to fight with the manager to do) when we were in the swimming pool and saw that someone had "relieved himself"...in the pool earlier. The manager did not try to accomodate us, he flat out refused to reimburse us for anything. I don't know how this place has stayed in business as this is the absolute worst place i have ever stayed at!!

Had A Great Time In Seaside Heights!

We thought the motel room we rented wasn't too bad. I would say it is typical of a classic jersey shore hotel. The motel management and staff were very friendly and helpful. They quickly did what was necessary to accommodate any questions/problems we encountered. We enjoyed the pool. I thought the size of the bathroom was a bit small, but then again, im a big guy. I have nothing negative to say. The flamingo hotel helped make my time in seaside heights, nj very enjoyable!

Pleasant Vacation

We have just returned from a week at the jersey shore with our daughters and their families, we had 4 rooms at the flamingo motel. When we checked in at the flamingo we were a little shocked at the size of the bathrooms and single rooms, they were a bit to the small side. This we found is the norm for this area, not much space is wasted on rooms or houses. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great every night we stayed. We were able to use the grill by the pool for a cookout one night which was a pleasant change from the restaurants. The pool was very well maintained and great for swimming. The management was very gracious and helpful with all of our many requests. The flamingo motel is not a top motel but it was a pleasant place to stay and we would stay again if we go back to the area.

This motel was not that bad. The room was decent and the pool was clean. The only strange service at this hotel was that they do not have a daily cleaning service. I had to make the bed everyday which I did not mind, but the rug had acquired sand by the door area because of the beach sand sticking to my flip flops. It would have been nice if they gave it a quick run with the vacuum. Other than the cleaning service i'd say this motel was not bad; however, I would definetly reconsider staying there again because of the cleaning service.

It Was Good for The Price

If you are really picky about where u stay perhaps this place won't be good for you. I write this as a young couple in our late teens who vacationed for 2 nights. First off I paid for a a queen bed and recieved a room with something of a "big" full. The room was pretty tiny and the bathroom was even smaller. Needeless to say the place served its purpose and if you're down at the shore and you're like us you won't be doing anything else be showing and sleeping in the room anyways. It was pretty clean and not to bad the staff is a bit strange but not a problem and the only thing is that there is no ice machine. I'd stay there again if I was trying to budget . . It's not bad at all for the rates but this time I might sae up a bit more cash for somewheres else.
