Spent 2 nights here in july 2004. The desk people were very courteous to us the entire time. We had a view over the boardwalk (a building away) which I found pleasant. My only major complaint = small shower. There was also a hole or two in the walls/door that hadnt been concealed. Other than that - we spent a nice time there. Located right next to the water park -n- casino pier. Cheap rates...got what we paid for.

I don't know what people are complaining about. Everyone that goes to seaside heights knows what to expect out of the hotels/motels there. There is nothing spectacular. You should be very happy to have a clean room to sleep in, which the rooms are. The owners of the hotel are very nice. Plus, its right across from the boardwalk. It's not a five star hotel or anything. But nothing is in seaside. Its a cute little motel with decent rooms and nice people. I stay there every year.

The rooms were a bit small, but who stays in the rooms when u can enjoy the boardwalk and the ocean. The people in charge were so nice to us, absolutely no complaints on them. They dont have a swimming pool nut even if they did, I would have been on the beach. I would stay here again. Their prices are lower than the ones on the boardwalk....much cheaper!

I wasn't really sure where to stay when I went down to the shore and a friend told me about angie and jack at the buoy16, what a great time! The rooms were super clean, and from what I saw elsewere that is hard to come by. The managers were so nice to us that we spent some of our time sitting outside chatting with them. The place has a great family atmosphere, and you can tell they are really selective about who stays there. This is definitly the place to go to do everything from the boardwalk to clubs to the big water park...or nothing at all but sit with the managers and people watch! I have now found my vacation destination for years to come!!

Love the way angie, the manager, makes everyone feel like family! My 10 year old daughter said she even reminded her of her granny! This is the second time I have been there and had even more fun than the first time!
