For the rates that they charged, I figured sight unseen, the aztec couldn't be that bad. Boy was I wrong. My room had a balcony that faced their bar. They had live bands there until 3am which made it very hard to sleep. They also have very heavy doors that slam shut very hard and loud (at all hours of the night) and wake up even the heaviest of sleepers. The inside of the "resort" reminded me of the housing project on the show good times. Discolored walls with dirty tile floors. The windows could use a good power washing. Feel like I should have gotten a small refund because I paid to see the ocean from my room and only saw a blurry haze of crud. I never stayed at a hotel that had a parking lot that was a block away. If you like the get drunk and party all night crowd, seaside and the aztek are "puuurfect together."

Have Returned Every Year for The Last 15Yrs

My husband and I have been staying at the aztec since before we were married. We have been staying here for over 15 yrs. We love the fact that it is right on the board walk. We now come each year with my kids and I bring my 80 year old parents. Every one is very friendly and nice to our family. I have never found the hotel to be dirty. If you are looking for a hotel on the boardwalk with easy access the is the place to go. Thanks aztec for making the start of our summer vacations so great!

The aztec is out of date and run down. There was bugs in our room. There was no tv remote, no heat and no lights because ther transmitter blew. Once I saw the bugs crawling on the wall I demanded my money back and I went to the belmont motel wich was excellent.

Love The Aztec

Visitor Review
My family and I go to the aztec every year. It is right on the boardwalk which makes it so we don't have to use our car pretty much the whole time. The pool is heated and there is a bar, restaurant, and more all part of it. You can just watch the fireworks right from the deck. The office ladies are very nice and they always remember us from the years before.

We go to the aztec everytime we go to seaside ,they are great .its nice because its right on the broard and there are lots of rooms.there is a pool and a bar also .great place to stay .
