What A Mess

We used to stay at mariners cove all the time. It's location is prime. Near the beach, restraunts, boardwalk etc. They even have a nice private room over the gift shop next door with a skylight that's very romantic. Well that was three years ago. When we stayed there this past january it was terrible. I had made reservations in advance but when they gave us the key to two rooms both the locks were broken. When we got into the third room it smelled, and the mattress on one of the beds was actually broken. What a dissappointment. My boyfriend asked why if I stayed there before would I ever want to stay there again. We will never stay there again. What a shame I really liked this place.

We used to stay here alot-was always a wonderful place-but now, forget it. This place really went downhill-somebody said there are new owners-rooms were dirty and smelly-service was terrible. Avoid at all costs!

Beware of The Fleas

First time to point pleasant. We stayed here with husband and two children. I itched all night. We changed the sheets... Still itchy. Room smelled dirty, rug and walls dirty and stained..gross. Next morning my poor two year old had flea bites on her. Unfortunately we had to stay another night..they gave us another room upstairs... Smelled but no fleas, refrig didn't work we left next day. They gave no discount or money back for inconvenience.

I Liked The Place

I disagree with all these reviews. I was able to get a suite last minute for me and 5 of my friends. It was such a nice room; it felt like we were staying in someone's house and we got a good price. I found the staff very helpful and nice. The heated pool was great as well. I would definitely go back again.

Overpriced,lacked the concept of customer service.couldnt get a second pillow and was limited to 2 dirty towels.hideous smell,dirty and very poor communication from all staff.used to be a wonderfull place under diane and gus new ownership is undescribable.do yourself a favor stay far away from mariners cove....
