A Wonderful Place To Relax

The cove point provides a clean, relaxing visit to the jersey shore. It's only a short drive to the beach and boardwalk, but upon return from the beach provides a wonderful dip in the pool and dining at many nearby restaurants. The service is courteous and responsive.

The rooms are old and smell. Cigarette burns in the wood and in the bedding. Find another place to stay.

No Frills, But Clean and Friendly

I just returned from my stay at the cove point. We had decided last minute to stay on the shore and the prices that were being asked were unbelievable. The amethyst that everyone says is so nice, had a vacany sign flashing, until you went in and they were booked. The atlantic motel had the rudest clerk, who snapped "no" and slammed the phone down when i asked about vacancys for the night.the cove point is absolutely in need of upgrades and renovation (which it is expected to get under the new ownership); and it is by far not the white sands. But for what the white sands wanted for one night, we were able to stay for two at the cove point. The staff is friendly and courteous and couldn't do enough to keep us comfortable. I requested viewing the room before committing to the reservation and the clerk gave me the key and welcomed me to search the room. It is in need of upgrading, but this staff is definitely doing the best with what they have to offer a clean, affordable accommodation.the location was nice too; a little off the beaten path, but we were at jenkinsons in no time flat...with free beach passes in hand!
