The staff was tremendously helpful. We lucked into an early check in, but we would have been able to use facilities on site before check in anyway. That's a real plus at the beach. They provided beach tags!! The coffee shop was wonderful (great omelets!!) with very friendly service. One block from the beach. Can't beat the location!

I used to live in Ocean City, NJ, so staying there in a hotel was a new experience. I was getting stressed about having to find a new parking spot for the car once we had checked out, but alas, it wasn't an issue. Here are the key benefits of this place that I think you should take note of: 1. Two free beach tags! (We didn't have to return ours until 2 p.m. on the day we checked out.) 2. Check out is at noon, but you can leave your car for the day and even return to use the pool, which we did. 3. Showers with free towels to use after beach/pool.

Staff is very friendly, very close to the beach, rooms were offered plenty of room and ice cold A/C after a day in the sun! Its no Hilton but for the money it is certainly worth it. Its an older building and shows signs of it in some places but our room was very clean and comfortable. The only down side I saw was it lacks internet access, in todays world, that should be standard. We were told the game room had access but that wasn't close by so we didn't try it. I would recommend it and plan on returning next year.

The Forum is clean, well kept, convenient to restaurants and boardwalk. Service was great. There's a cafe in the building which serves great breakfasts and very reasonably priced. Downside: The beds were very hard however, I would stay again.

The staff of the Forum Inn, Ocean City,NJ was very friendly, especially the check-in staff. Bathrooms are extremely small and the matresses were rock hard...this was also relayed to us from others who have visited the Forum Inn.This makes a restful night very difficult. The pool and surroundings were very neat and clean.

My wife and I spent two nights here this month. The hotel is clean, its only a block away from the boardwalk and their staff is incredible. The owners care about their guests. We checked out on a Sunday and asked if we could leave our car there for a couple of hours so we could go to the beach. The young lady at the desk was so helpful, she said yes that we could leave our car there. She also made sure that we knew where the showers were and where we could get towels. This really stood out as caring for their customers. I have a couple of minor complaints about the hotel, which other reviewers have also mentioned: The beds are very hard. If you have trouble sleeping on a hard mattress, this hotel is not for you. They do not give you enough towels. The towels are soft, but there were barely enough for two of us. They have tandem parking, which means if you are parked behind someone, you will have to leave your car keys at the front desk. My complaints are minor and should in no way prevent someone from staying here. As an FYI, Ocean City is a dry town. There are no bars or liquor stores in town, however there is a large liquor store at the traffic circle before you enter town. I recommend this hotel, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel staff members were without exception friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed the week I was there, but the nearby Varsity Inn serves an excellent breakfast.

Our family have been vacationing in ocean city new jersey for the past 44 years and I haven't missed a year yet ! We love our yearly stay at the forum. The morrison family is wonderful, the location is great, the pool excellent and we can walk wherever we want to go in the city. The rooms are always neat and clean and the entire staff is helpful in every way. Special thanks to the morrison family for making our vacation so nice.

The place was really clean and the pool was great. It was very convienent to everything. We did have a real major promblem. Our friends daughter somehow got here fingers caught in the elevator doors. They were crushed between the two doors that slide together. The management did come, and got her hand out, but they never checked backed to see if everything was okay. Thank god nothing was broken, her fingers were very swall and stiff. This is a family owned and operated facility, I would think that they would have been a bit more concered about the families staying there, how would they feel if it was there child.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. My only complaint was that there was not a microwave available anywhere on site. Food has become very expensive in ocean city, forum ought to consider microwaves. Bed and breakfasts in oc have them in every hall. Paying for ice is pretty crummy too, come to think of it.
