I stayed in the surf haven in june of 2004, it was a really great place. The people were very friendly, and it was very nice! I want to go back again this year.

I am sitting here reading these reviews for this place and i am sick to my stomach!! I stayed there with my wife for 3 nights and it was the worst!! When we arrived, the owner tells us it is a great 'family' oriented hotel. The first night there were people outside of our room up until 2am drinking and partying like they were in their own backyard. The walls of this hotel must be made out of copy paper, because you can hear everything!! The second night was relatively quit, probably because they all drank too much the night before! And the third night, the same as the first!! Only this time it was worse!!! We got back to our room around 11, and there were about 25 people outside of the room. We tried to ignore it, but when it was around 1 in the morning and it was all i could take. There we people screaming and yelling like it was 5 in the evening. So i went outside to see what was going on, and by this time it was around 2. When i opened the door, there were about 5 kids, not adults, drinking beer and jumping in and out of the pool, at 2am!!!!! But the kicker was when i looked the other way, it was the owner of the hotel who was screaming and partying with everybody else. There were kids in the pool at 2am, drinking mind you, and the owner of this so called family hotel was bombed, not caring one bit about his other tenants!! This place was a joke, and they should take it down and put a a condo like they did every other piece of crab hotel in this city!!
