A Great Find

We spent three nights at the sandpeper beach resort (inn) during spring break. We were told that it was the first week that the refurbished units were open. The 2 bedroom condo was spotless, with a great view of the beach (just across the street), wonderful beds with cushy conforters and fluffy pillows, oversized shower heads in the bathroom, and an efficient little kitchen with all the appliances you might want. We got a great price by booking on expedia.

Driving Thru Bridgeton New Jersey

I drove thru bridgeton on my way to fairton, and this was my first trip to new jersey bridgeton is very run down, and the hotels look like they are used for alot of things if you understand. I stayed in vineland which was about 20 miles from bridgeton and I stayed at the wingate which was well worth the extra 25 dollars a night very safe and clean. And as a woman traveling alone I would only drive thru bridgeton and never stay their. I also saw alot of people living on the streets. Just some input for any one needing info. Over all the veiw of nature is breath taking and if anyone knows of a safe clean hotel in any other city close to fairton please let me know thanks.

Not Concerned With Guests Comforts

Just returned from the sandpiper and while the accomodations were good, they still had workers painting the pool and pool area and putting up fences. Trucks pulling in and out all day. Noisy nail guns and compressors ruining the sound of the ocean. They also were suppose to have chairs and umbrellas for the beach, so i was told by the person that took our reservation. They didn't. They advised this service would only be available for the memorial day holiday which didn't help us as we left on the friday before. We were told we could use the pool at congress hall, but they, too, were doing extensive work around their pool area. Doesn't sound too relaxing to me....i'm very disappointed as this was suppose to be a quiet r&r get away. While walking up and down the boardwalk (just to get away from the noise and smells) we noticed there wasn't one other hotel doing work on their property (except congress hall which is owned by the same company). I guess the management of the other hotels care about the comfort of their guests by having all the noisy work complete for this busy time of year.
