I thought summer station was great! Very clean. Great location and the employees were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Reservation Clerk Did Not Want To Be Bothered

We did not get a chance to stay at this hotel, I couldn't get the desk clerk to give me information without a "fight". Because the hotel was booked for the month we were interested in, he couldn't be bothered to give me some details of their suites, just to have for future reference. He was very rude when I asked him to give me the sleeping arrangements for the suits. He said "do you want descriptions of all 7 suites?" very sarcastic. I'm glad we did not have the chance to spend money at this hotel.

We have been coming to cape may for more than 10 years and always stay at summer station. It is clean, a good value for the money and has great access to everything. If you have kids, or are single this is the place to come. We hope to come for another 10 years.

Summer station is a great place to stay. Each suite is like a small apartment, with full kitchen, living room, bedrooms and washer/dryer in each unit. I loved being able to come off the beach (which is across the street) and wash the day's towels and bathing suits. It is really nice to leave a vacation with clean clothes and not have to wait for shared, coin-op washers/dryers as is the case at most hotels. The pool is small but clean and the location is tops as the hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk. Our kids love summer station and we will continue to return each year.

We have been vacationing at summer station for 7 years now. It offers the convenience of a full size kitchen including diswasher, dishware and full size coffee maker. A nice size living room and bedrooms. Great for a family with children. We always stay in the ocean front rooms 3rd or 4th floor. The ocean view is so beautiful and the dolphins always seem to be swimming. It is in a prime location since you can walk across to the beach or go shopping at the mall. My only complaint is that the furniture needs major updating. The livingroom has a southwestern style couch that is worn and stained. I always bring extra sheets to cover them up so we can sit on them with the kids. The mattresses are also a bit worn and uncomfortable. I think they need to invest a little in these areas.
