Visitor Review
The room was terreble. The room was filled with smoke from the next door room. I did not have a peaceful rest the entire stay. All clothing had to be washed and drycleaned on return.

If you are not into the wholeextras thing, you know, more bed linen, ice, a working phone, then you are in luck. This place is ideal if you on a tight budget, or if you do not plan to stay in the room for to long. I didn't mind the small bathroom, but a real-size bar of soap, and a change of linen would be helpful. Bring your own snacks as the closest store is almost three miles away. They are flexible with the check-out time.

The only place in town that did not "gouge" us because we were in town for a convention! Not a bad place for the money...a little dusty and cobwebs in the closets. Shower (no tub-thank goodness) was a physco shower (scarey/no light!) Bathroom window did not lock but it did overlook the "bay"...swamp. In fact all the rooms had a veiw of the "bay" (stange little swamp) a little frustrated with all the noise from the partiers coming back after midnight....was going to call the front desk, but no one (that we could find) stays there at night!!

Worst Place I Have Ever Stayed At

I have been in the hospitality business for 12 years and traveled extensively before that, and this is by far the worst place i have ever stayed. The town was booked solid so we were stuck for two nights. We had asked for a non-smoking room, but our room reeked of smoke, and had cigarette burns on all of the furniture and the carpet. The lamp shades were stained yellow from all the smoke. There were long black hairs on our pillows, bedspread, and throughout the bathroom. My wife went to the front desk and asked for cleaning supplies so she could clean our bathroom. These were given to her without comment (maybe it was a frequent request?). I was told that if there were no ashtrays in the room, it is non-smoking. The drawer in the credenza had a front and sides but no back or bottom. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy at any price. They knew the town was full and charged us $100 per night for this dump. Stay away!

The Worst Place You Should Never See

For $125, we got holes in the walls, mirror falling off the wall, cigarette burns in the bedspread, awful smell, no controls on air conditioner, no telephones, among other issues. We took two rooms and the other was the same except the toilet stopped flushing early in the night. There were no other hotels in the area because of conventions so we had to stay. Do yourself a favor and sleep in a cardboard box instead of this place.
