Apparently there is a renovated side and a side that looks like a big plaid shirt from 1970. The bathroom had old blue ceramic tile, old rusty crusty fixtures, and and a stained bathtub. I it was really gross. The room was clean, but severely lacked the comforts of a modern day room. Staying there made it my quickest trip to AC ever, we arrived at 8pm and left by 8am. What a waste!

I didn't expect much, because the price was so cheap among other hotels near the boardwalk. I was surprising because the lobby was so neat and looked nice. The restaurants on the second floor were very nice too(even they're expensive). However, rest of hotel was looked very old. The doors, furniture, bathroom... everything in the room were very old. Anyway, The view and the size of room was pretty good. Even though those aspects dissatisfied me, but I could stand because it was CHEAP!

This is a serious review. I can promise you that I'm not lying. A group of us got two hotel rooms on Thanksgiving eve. One room was already assigned to someone else, so we walked in and there were suitcases on the bed already. In the other room (which was a $60 room), the carpet was crinkled, the windows were cracked with duct tape on them, and the bathroom faucets significantly leaked all night. BUT,,,,, the worst part of the night, was when I got STUCK in there elevator. No lie, it got stuck between two floors. Luckily, the elevator had an emergency phone in it, because no one responded to the "alarm" button. I waited there 30 minutes (glad I'm not scared of elevators like my wife). Finally, a group of like 5 technicians pryed the elevator door open and hoisted me up (because the elevator was between 2 floors). No wonder why this hotel is going out of business.

Received a nice warm reception. Was given a room promptly, they aimed to please. Nice and quiet and clean. Was pleasantly surprised by the health spa - women's side had a jacuzzi, steam room that is activated by ice in a ladle applied to a sensor, delightfully hot, clean sauna and even a eucalyptus room, cucumber slices for your eyes, mud mask for your face, fruit and juice available to help keep you hydrated. It was a paradise, just what I needed to unwind from a busy, stressful life!!! I would go back again and again. Thank you Resort's you are just what the doctor ordered!!!!!

I did not like the room service. I ordered food delivered to my room and had to cancel the order. After an hour had passed I called room service only to be told I had to wait another half hour because they were short staff.

We got a great deal on two adjoining rooms in the Ocean View Tower... but there wasn't much of a view. My husband's family was visiting from Ireland and we had a great time here. The rooms were a little dirty and the beds a little stiff but the casino and shops were nice. I would recommend this hotel to folks looking to save a dollar on an Atlantic City getaway and still get the experience. The restaurant menu prices were a bit high but the pubs surrounding the hotel made up for that!

The room looks worn (corners of picture frames were chipped, bathroom toiler bowl was scratched, refrigerator door was scrated) but clean. We were switched twice, once because they need to do maintenance on the room above ours, and the second time, because the second room's closet door does not open. There was only two lamps in each of the rooms so it's kind of dark in the rooms. We had views of the ocean, so that was nice. The front desk and self park staff were friendly and courteous. For the price and location, I would definitely come back. We had a nice tasty and resonably priced dinner at the 'Breadstick' restaurant.

The bathroom was very small with virtually no counter space except for a 3" shelf over the toilet. The toilet flush knob was almost inaccessible and you practically had to get on your knees to flush it. There was no fan in the bathroom. There was no hair dryer provided. The shower head was too low for six footers. The room was generally clean and tidy.

After reading the other reviews I thought I would try a stay at the resorts hotel. Even though at atlantic city I don't spend large amounts of time in the room and the price was right. The room was extremely plain but had all the standard amenities. They definitely need to clean the rug and update the bathrooms. The view was the best part since it was oceanview and overlooked the beach. After staying at other hotels with ratings of 4 or better I cannot give it a 4 out of 5 rating for anything. The service staff on the casino floor and the few restaurants I went to were nice. The front desk staff needs a wake up call because I could have gotten better service and help from a tree. This is another example of you get what you pay for. It was cheap and so it reflects that is more ways than one. I won't be going back here unless I am desperate for a cheap room right on the boardwalk.

We really enjoyed our stay and were impressed with our room. Our only complaint was that the mattress and pillows were extremely firm. I guess that's better than soft and lumpy, but we would have prefered a bit more cushioning. The room was spacious and clean, the staff pleasant and helpful, and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

Spacious room, excepional service & very clean. Excellent restaurants (gallagher's is a must!) The only problem was that the climate control in the room did not work, but we simply opened the windows and were very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone !!

Had a slight problem when we were checking in... They had no record of my reservation. Luckily I had printed out and brought with me my expedia confirmation. Room was ok. Casino was ok. Food pricey and not all that good. Breakfast was $12 for 2 coffees and 2 bagels. The buffet wasn't too expensive, but also wasn't very good. Best part was the pool. It was really nice and there were no children, not one, running and jumping and splashing. It was very relaxing.

We stayed on a thursday night at a great rate. On the 2nd floor of the ocean tower we had a terrible view of the hvac system over the casino, which was disappointing. The room was small and it seemed like new carpet had been simply thrown in to cover the old. Good water pressure. It was just ok, nothing to write home about.

Bathroom desperately needed remodeling. Industrial, foot-flush toilet, old tub and tile, small sink, no counter space for toiletries. For a supposed 3-star hotel there were zero amenities in room -- no blow dryer (although they did bring me one when I called and asked), no coffee maker, no bottled water (tap water is really nasty), no refreshment bar or refrigerator. Bed and pillows were hard as rocks. Best thing I can say is the room was relatively clean and very spacious.

Nice room for the rate, lots of space. The pool was nice and friendly hotel staff. Check it was crowded and staff at desk were extremely cordial and customer service oriented. I would book here again for location. Buffet was low cost and poor quality of food, other restaurants were fair, food service could have been better.

The hotel was beautiful. Restaurants excellent and staff always friendly. Casino was my favorite - least crowded. Hotel room was basic - bed was very hard. Ocean view was nice. Housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning room each morning. Room service was fast and excellent. Hotel is right on the boardwalk. This was my first time in atlantic city, and I will stay at this hotel every time I come back.

If you're a non-smoker recommend you ask for a room on the 10 floor on higher. Though they have non-smoking rooms below the 10th floor. There's the residue of smoke on floors 9 and below. I had to change rooms twice to get to a non-smoking room that was actually one which did not have the residue of smoke. The hallway carpet is full of check box colors. Not easy on the eyes.

I got this room, because it ended being the cheapest hotel that was along the boardway, but it was way better then I had expected. First off, the room as fairly large, it had like a mini living room and two queen size beds in the back. There was also 2 t.v. Sets, so it is great for families with children. The only con about the hotel I would have to say is that its at the end of the boardwalk and you have to walk quite a bit to get to the other casinos or areas of the boardwalk, other then that, it was pretty good.
