Hotel was very noisy throughout the night as if an Casino was in the building... Bathroom overall was totally filthy, especially in the tub where we seen little peices of hair all over...and last but not least Cigarette Holes in the bed (Sheets & Comforter)…

It was clean, two beds and tv desk and table. Not far from the boardwalk and casinos. As long as you don't expect luxury accomodations just a clean place to sleep and shower it is fine. They also have a small restaurant there that serves breakfast all day, although we didn't eat there so I can't comment.

I would stay there again. Hotel was in the midst of some renovations but the staff displayed excellent service. I called to request a particular room in advance but due to the renovations they couldn't accommodate me with that room. They absolutely made up for it with a better room with more than I would have had...a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Room was clean and bathroom was as well. Never had an unclean moment in that room.

wouldn't recommend hotel. yes it was close but the area wasn't very safe nor was the room very nice. kinda of smelled, cold, etc. stay somewhere else if it is available.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. My husband competes in the New Breed Fighters MMA matches at the Show Boat Casino and we have used this hotel both times he has competed. It of course is not as luxurious as the Show Boat rooms however if you don't have 300+ a night to spend on a hotel this is the way to go. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Their is a great diner attached to the hotel were we enjoyed breakfast both times we stayed. The hotel is located on the main strip and has Jitney (Bus) stops right outside the front doors that will take you where ever you want for a buck!

For the money the room was good. It was clean and comfortable. The front desk was always polite and nice. They were very helpful with suggestions on where to get food and how to get around. The only problem I had was the bathroom was backing up and we had to remind the staff to clean it twice other than that everything was ok. The indoor pool was nice and clean. Oh, and breakfast was great!!!!!!!

Let's face it, you don't go to AC to stay off the strip. However, when you need to whether it's because there's no availability on the strip or your financial situation, the HoJo is a good place to stay. The rooms are clean and recently redone. In fact, the bathroom was so clean it gleamed. My wife, who is a total hotel bed snob commented that she was surprised about how clean the be is. The layout of the hotel is a bit strange; there are strange corridors and random alcoves, but, as I said previously, it's delightfully adequate. The neighborhood, besides the large church directly across the street is shady...as is most of AC, but hey - it's AC.
