"Ghetto Superstar"

Visitor Review
This hotel is like a big project building. It's very ghetto, inside and outside. You will wait up to 15 mins to go to up or down from your room cause there is a lot of costumers going from one floor to another. I would be very scared if I wasn't very confident with my martial arts. The room was very 60s. The sheets were old, thin, smelly and overall dirty. Flat screen TV was cool but the only amazing thing about this hotel is the balcony and the fresh air you can from opening the balcony door. I wish all the hotels were build this way.

Visitor Review
This hotel is past the Showboat Casino, so it requires a short jitney ride or taxi cab to go to the casinos. But the Jitney runs every hour on the hour, so it is easy to catch and is included in the price of the room. I love the balcony and the view of EVERYTHING going on in Atlantic City. Great room for the price!

Was impressed by the room. Very spacious. Had change rooms during 5 day stay (not hotels fault, could not book 5 straight days because of airshow coming) Balcony view from the corner was wonderful. spent most of our time on balcony. Will def stay again.

It is a nice room for the money, the only problem I had was waiting for the elevator and the air conditioning. Could not work the air conditioning did not feel any air at night or the next day.

There are good and bad things about this hotel. The good is the staff. They are very respectful and friendly and always made me feel welcomed. At the same time, the staff overlooked some very important details. The bad: I had to switch to another room because the first room smelled like sewage. I asked the staff to let me know when they fixed the problem because I wanted my original room back. It had a balcony and it was very spacious. The second room had no balcony and was a lot smaller. I found out the following day when I went to check on the status of the first room that they had already put someone else in the room, I continuously called to get my room back but I never could. I feel they should have been more attentive to my situation. I explained to them that I needed the bigger room because my mother who was traveling with me needed to be able to get around the room in her wheelchair. My request was ignored or forgotten.

It was a little further away from downtown, but they do have a free shuttle running every hour to go to bally's or you can take the jitney for a fee. when we checked in they did not have a room ready, we had to come back to check in about three different times, but when we finally did get a room it was one with a good view on the 30th floor looking towards the ocean with a private balcony. the elevators are a little bit slow, but we could deal with that. there are two different beaches close by, which was nice. the parking was a pain, they need more spots, but you can come and go as you please, its a little to much a day to pay. but overall the place was nice to stay at.

Visitor Review
The hotel is right off the boardwalk, and is only a short drive or 10-15 minute walk to the Showboat. We booked one of the Metropolitan rooms (two double beds), and were satisfied. Since we were traveling with a toddler, the maintenance staff of the hotel promptly covered up the electrical outlets (at our request). It is certainly not a luxury hotel, but it's a great value, and the staff is great.

We reserved two rooms. They were not together. Each room had a DVD player. One had no controller. When we called to tell them, they said they would send one up. No one ever came. It is supposes to be a non smoking hotel, yet their was a burn hole in the table and our upstairs neighbors were hanging on the balcony puffing away. The beds were too hard one was off the frame with metal bars sticking out waiting to take flesh off of someone's leg. We waited 45 minutes for an elevator, eventually having to walk down from the 19th floor. I hurt my leg. My sister is an owner and said that they had shut down the only eatery in the hotel for breakfast and lunch on Mon, Tue and Wed. The last visit was much nicer. P.S. the view was lovely, and the rooms were quite nice, make no mistake.

WHEN WE FIRST ARRIVED, THE GUY WHO TELLS YOU WHERE TO PARK WAS THE NICEST GENTLEMAN I THINK I EVER RAN ACROSS, POLITE AND VERY KIND AND WAS AN ELDER GUY. ON THE OTHER HAND, I THINK MY FAMILY AND I WAS RACIALLY PROFILE, BECAUSE THERE WAS A LOBBY FULL OF PEOPLE, AND WE HAD JUST COME FROM THE BEACH, SO MY BROTHER AND I HAD OUR SHIRTS OFF AND OUR LADIES WHO LOOK PRETTY YOUNG BUT WILL BE 21 IN A FEW MONTHS, WAS STOPPED AND QUESTIONED. THE LADY ASKED DID WE HAVE ROOMS THERE AND WHEN WE TOLD HER WE DID, SHE DID'T BELIEVE US AND ASK FOR OUR ROOM NUMBER. THEN, SHE ASK WAS MY WIFE AND MY BROTHER'S GIRLFRIEND OVER 18. CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED AT THAT HOTEL SO I DIDN'T SEE A REASON FOR THAT QUESTION. AT FIRST IT DIDN'T BOTHER ME, I GUESS BECAUSE IT WAS A SPUR OF THE MOMENT THING, BUT LATER IT REALLY GOT TO ME BECAUSE THE LOBBY WAS FULL AND WE WERE TARGETED. THE HOTEL ROOMS NEED TO UPDATED TO THIS CENTURY.

I booked this based on Hotel.com's rating, not individual reviews. Hotel.com should be ashamed - this is far from a 3.5 star hotel. First, you cannot get internet access in your room - I had to work, which was a huge problem. To make that matter worse, instead of just saying 'it doesn't work in your room' so I could have left, for 3 days I heard 'the IT guy is here working on it so you will have to come to the lobby.' Second, the elevators in this place are the worst I have EVER seen. It's no exaggeration that you will have to wait for an elevator for 15 minutes and then you're lucky if it isn't full. (Staff with carts shares the elevators with the public). A complaint got the same response 'the elevator guy is here working on it'. The ice makers were off, the pool was absolutely filthy everyday. The remote control for the TV didn't work and when they fixed it, it stopped working again right after they left the room. I can't complain about the location, because I was okay that it was on the northern end of the boards. What I didn't know was that you have to climb through barriers to stay on the boardwalk or walk through not-so-nice areas to get to the casinos. You have to pay nearly $8 a day to park in the hotel, but they were generous enough to give me back the money for the parking (considering I parked in the street and never used it). On the other hand, the pillows were awesome and the bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size. Oh and the staff (though not completely honest), were extremely nice. Listen, run! Pay less money and stay in one of the Absecon hotels or spend a little more and stay in one of the good hotels. This place is a dump.

there were rowdy groups on our floor. I was jolted out of sleep more than once. We made reservations in advance and the rooms were not together.Bed was hard and uncomfortable.However, the room, overall was really nice, the view was beautiful. no useable beach. You must drive or shuttle. They have boardwalk and view but no useable beach. The kids had a good time at the pool. I was under the impression that the hotel was non smoking, but my neighbor upstairs was on the balcony puffing away. Elevator @ checkout took more than 30 minutes to come. Had to walk from 19th floor.

the hotel was ok but waiting for an elevator was outragous wheather your going up or down just get on anyway thats the only way youll get where going the overall stay was nice but i didnt like in fine print it says if you dont wash your dishes it will be an additional 50 dollars so watch out for that

The hotel was exactly what we wanted. It was right on the water, walking distance to the beach and it had a balcony and it didn't cost too much. Our kids loved it and so did we. The beds are horribly uncomfortable but if you can look past that it is worth the stay.

I was very dissapointed in the Flagship-FantaSea Hotel for what I spent to stay there. The elevators were extremely slow. We waited about 5-10 minutes for an elevator and when it finally arrived, it was full. The room was awful, totally outdated. The toilet ran every 20 seconds, the air conditioning was entirely too cold. We also asked for a pull-out couch. Upon arrival and opening it up, there was a huge hole in the bed lining and was held together by cable ties. The overall location of the hotel was terrible. They have one shuttle that runs every hour and was usually full and the major part of the boardwalk was 10-15 blocks away from the hotel. No walking access to the beach. One side of the hotel was in the middle of a residental neighborhood and the other part looked as if it were in the projects. I was hassled twice in the 4 days I spent there to purchase a timeshare. The pool is indoor and smelled awful, they have a sundeck with about 10 chairs. I would absolutely never recommend this hotel to anyone, nor would I ever stay there again.

The hotel has great potential but needs to be updated. Although the hotel is at the far end of the strip it allows for great views of the water. The parking lot could be expanded to account for the number of guests in the hotel. The rooms are of decent size but felt outdated. There have been many comments regarding the elevators so hopefully they will be enhanced so that they move a little faster. Having one elevator dedicated to the bellhop would probably help when checking in and out.

It was a great room and was away from the other casonos/hotels. Very pleased with the clean, large bathroom in the room. We paid for a beach front, got a side view of the beach. The only true complaint would be the air-very stuff room, no individual thermostats in rooms. Got a non smoking room-but roomed next to smokers. So when we were on the balcony, they were too.... Parking in the hotel was a little hassle bc it is very limited, but they refunded our parking fee @ checkout. Great customer service. Would go there again, all in all.

We were not aware that this hotel was a timeshare at the time of booking. Their owners may stay in their 5-star luxurious suites, but the guests do not. Our heat didn't work properly,the toilet dripped and the baseboard tiles had worked their way lose. The staff is friendly except for the strongarm they send in for the holdouts on purchasing their timeshare; he was extremely demeaning and rude. And, it is not near the casinos.

I just returned from the flagship in ac and we had a fantastic time! Our suite was extremely clean with fantastic views of the ocean.it was absolutely wonderful to relax and listen to the ocean from my balcony view. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. They offer a complimentary shuttle to the sands casino. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at this property.

I really did not like this hotel at all. It was definitely not 3 1/2 stars as indicated. It wasn't very clean, it was old, the blanket on my bed was dirty....never again. The only positive was the view, which was really wonderful...if only it was in another hotel...yuck.

At check in we were asked if we wanted smoking or non, requested non and got smoking. Burn holes in carpet, bedding, and bathroom. Very expensive and low quality. Pool was extremely dirty, hot tub had ants floating every where (some still alive!) Breakfast buffet expensive with burned bacon and hard french toast. Shuttle was late a few times. Loud and noisy neighbors in next room. Walls very thin. Bed was on boards and very uncomfortable. Would never stay here again. Had to come home for peace and quiet and to sleep. Not close to casinos, but a great ocean view (only positive the whole weekend).

Nice Family Resort

The stay was nice. However we had a do not disturb sign on our room one of the days. We took the sign off when we left the room about noon. We saw the cleaning cart and knew that someone was cleaning the floor. However they never came back to clean our room. Another thing the restaurant closed kind of early. The room was very nice though. The staff was nice too.

Not Impressed

We were not aware that this hotel was a timeshare at the time of booking. Their owners may stay in their 5-star luxurious suites, but the guests do not. Our heat didn't work properly,the toilet dripped and the baseboard tiles had worked their way lose. The staff is friendly except for the strongarm they send in for the holdouts on purchasing their timeshare; he was extremely demeaning and rude. And, it is not near the casinos.

I just returned from the flagship in ac and we had a fantastic time! Our suite was extremely clean with fantastic views of the ocean.it was absolutely wonderful to relax and listen to the ocean from my balcony view. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. They offer a complimentary shuttle to the sands casino. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at this property.

This resort has the best ocean views in atlantic city. Additionally, the room and staff were 5 star. I will definitely be coming back again.

Never Again

I really did not like this hotel at all. It was definitely not 3 1/2 stars as indicated. It wasn't very clean, it was old, the blanket on my bed was dirty....never again. The only positive was the view, which was really wonderful...if only it was in another hotel...yuck.

At check in we were asked if we wanted smoking or non, requested non and got smoking. Burn holes in carpet, bedding, and bathroom. Very expensive and low quality. Pool was extremely dirty, hot tub had ants floating every where (some still alive!) Breakfast buffet expensive with burned bacon and hard french toast. Shuttle was late a few times. Loud and noisy neighbors in next room. Walls very thin. Bed was on boards and very uncomfortable. Would never stay here again. Had to come home for peace and quiet and to sleep. Not close to casinos, but a great ocean view (only positive the whole weekend).

Nice Family Resort

Visitor Review
The stay was nice. However we had a do not disturb sign on our room one of the days. We took the sign off when we left the room about noon. We saw the cleaning cart and knew that someone was cleaning the floor. However they never came back to clean our room. Another thing the restaurant closed kind of early. The room was very nice though. The staff was nice too.

The hotel looked great and the room was comfortable, but the staff was a little rude. A few of the people weren't very nice. Other than the few bad apples it was great hotel.

Decent Budget Hotel - No Luxuries

This hotel was a decent hotel for anyone on a budget - but don't expect great service or luxuries. It literally took 15 minutes to wait for an elevator every time we tried to leave the hotel - not enough working elevators for the number of guests. The room is large and comfortable, and great view with a balcony! Very far from the casinos, but not terrible if looking for a deal.
