A Perfect Hotel Suite Down The Shore
By Anonymous on Friday, June 16, 2006

Visitor Review
As I put the keycard into the hotel room door after a long day at the beach, I did so with some trepidation (after a stay at a truly gross hotel down the shore last year). I was, however, surprised and thrilled with what i found on the other side of the door. A large "living room" with queen size pull out sofa, table and 4 chairs, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, tv, large, clean bathroom and a large bedroom with a king size bed, another tv, ample drawer space in both rooms and even a place to hang clothes. And when we opened the sofa for the kids we found that it was already made-up with clean sheets, a clean blanket, and we found clean, fresh pillows in sanitary-looking plastic bags on a shelf. If we couldn't find a place that large, right on the beach, for that price, it was the next best thing. And in the morning there was a nice buffet breakfast including make-your-own waffles, cereal, coffee, juice, french toast, eggs, dunkin donuts... It was a great place to stay and i'm so glad that i used tripadvisor.com to find it in the first place. I will use both this hotel, and this website, in the future for sure!

Great Hotel At A Great Price

I was very happy with my stay at this days inn!!! The hotel staff was very nice, and this was a great deal for the price I paid. This hotel was very clean, and although the deocr is not pretty, it was on the newer side, definitely. I've had my share of staying at motels and was disgusted by them, but this was a great hotel. The best part of my stay was the free breakfast and the freshly popped popcorn!! We arrived at the hotel on saturday night about 8 or 9pm, and after we settled into our room, we went downstairs to get some tea before we headed out for dinner. There is free coffee and tea 24 hrs a day, and we noticed the popcorn machine in the corner, and helped ourself to some, and it was great! The next morning, we got downstairs at about 8:45am, and the breakfast area was packed!! This was such a great deal!! You make your own belgian waffles, and there is also fresh fruit, muffins, instant oatmeal, cereal, bagels, donuts, pastries and fruit juice! This made it a lot easier to feed my finicky toddler!! Also, the place is very clean too! I've had free continental breakfasts at hotels that were barely ok, but this breakfast was awesome!! And after breakfast stops being served at 10:00am, if there are leftover pastries, they are left out for anyone to come and enjoy during the rest of the day! Popcorn is usually available in the late afternoon, a great afternoon snack!! I definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great deal that is only 10 mins away from atlantic city!

Basic Hotel Room, Good Value for The Price

We decided to stay here for 1 night for a trip to atlantic city (ac). We chose to stay outside of the city (it's a 10-15 minute drive from the hotel) to save some money and we were happy with our choice. All we were looking for was a clean place to sleep for the night. Everything was pretty much as expected for a hotel room of this class. We got a clean room with a clean bathroom and basic ammenities. The continental breakfast (fresh waffles, french toast, juice, muffins, etc) was a nice surprise as it was actually better than what we were expecting. The only complaint I would note is that the curtains were very dusty and probably hadn't been washed for a long time. When we opened the window for the night and moved the curtains around to do it, it stirred up enough dust in the air to trigger a mild alergic reaction from me. We actually left a laptop computer in the room when we left. They gave us a call later in the day to tell us which we were thankful for as we were halfway home to maryland already. At least they didn't wait to call us the next day.

Amost Everything Fine, Unless…

You don't mind paper thin walls! Quite disappointed as I found myself awakend around 4:30 am by our neighbor apparently needing some ice. Not that he was all that loud mind you, bucket must have slipped out of his hands and bumped the table which woke me up. I could then hear the sound of him placing the plastic wrap gently over the bucket..yes, you heard right. As he left the room the door shut sending vibrations through our room (table lamp and beds actually shook), then waking my wife. He came back and started having a conversation with his roomy in which we could hear every word. They weren't talking loud, I would say slightly below normal conversation levels actually, but the sound-proofing is so bad we could hear everything. We didn't catch on to this early as we were staying over for a wedding, so checked-in, quickly got dressed and left, only to come back too late to catch the problem. Quite a shame as the room was clean and fine otherwise, and the small breakfast offering was a nice start to the morning. If you're neighbors are the sleep-through-the-night type, you'll be fine (couple of friends on other floors had no problems), but otherwise you could be in for a very poor night of sleep, just what is needed for the long ride home!.
