Aimee Amodio

Aimee is a lifelong Jersey shore resident -- she tried to move away twice and ended up coming home again both times.  She loves the beach and the ocean and will probably never try to leave again.

Aimee is also a lifelong writer.  At the age of eleven, she announced to her family that she wanted to be a writer when she grew up.  Her first published piece of fiction, “What Became of the King” appears in Writers of the Future, Volume 18 -- an anthology that showcases new talent in science fiction and fantasy.  As a freelance nonfiction writer, she works for websites like Families.com, ThriftyFun.com, and of course… this one.

Aimee has had many different jobs, but writing is her true love.  She has been a radio personality, a grant writer, a party clown, and even a professional storyteller.. but these days she is just writing. And she loves it.
